Did you know that one of the top qualities an employer looks for is reliability? A student can strive to become a reliable employee by establishing good attendance, starting in elementay school.

A reminder that GCMS Elementary School is holding a coin/money drive with all proceeds being donated to Gibson Area Food Pantry at Gibson Area Hospital (GAFP). Each classroom will be collecting monetary donations through Wednesday NOVEMBER 13, 2024.
The ultimate goal is to help those in need, but to help encourage donations, the class who donates the most $ will get to ride on a decorated school bus in the lighted Christmas Parade and the winning grade level will receive a pizza party courtesy of our bus drivers. Thanks in advance for your donations!
You can send donations to school. (Checks can be made out to "GAFP" which is a 501c3 organization) or you can donate online at https://donate.gibsonhospital.org/campaigns/35255-gcms-elementary-school-coin-drive-for-the-food-pantry

Good afternoon high school parents/guardians,
GCMS High School provides several different options for support of students that are struggling academically.
Study Tables are available from 7:30-8:00 and 3:30-4:00 each day of student attendance. These can be utilized as a quiet place to do work and seek help. These will be mandatory for any student-athlete that is earning a D or F or students that are referred by a classroom teacher.
McCormick Tutoring (Mrs. Hays) is available from 3:30-4:30 in Mrs. Hays's room (204) Monday-Thursday during student attendance days. Tutoring can be utilized for any student that needs additional support, especially in Algebra I, Geometry, and English classes. Students can utilize this service for studying for tests (any subject) and homework.
Mrs. Thomason is also available in the library Tuesdays and Thursdays for tutoring during the school day.
The best option for all of our students is to seek help from the teacher in the class that they are struggling with first. All of our staff are here to help and your success is our top priority.
Each class also has a reteach/retake policy that students can utilize for tests/quizzes/assessments. Students should ask their individual teachers for guidance on reteach/retake policies.
Please reach out with any questions!
Sincerely, Mr. Bielfeldt

The Falcon Football team will take on the Salt Fork Storm tomorrow at 1 PM in Gibson City. Admission to the game is $6 for all people attending. There are no passes or discounts for senior citizens. The admission fees are set by the IHSA.
Gates open at 11:45 AM.
Go Falcons!

Let's do this, Falcons!
