INFORMATIONAL POST: There was discussion at the Middle School Boys Basketball Parent meeting regarding Middle School Boy's Basketball Intramurals taking place during November and December. Unfortunately, this will NOT take place this school year due to various circumstances. As such, Middle School Boy's Basketball Intramurals will take place in the spring. GCMS Elementary School will be holding a coin/money drive with all proceeds being donated to Gibson Area Food Pantry at Gibson Area Hospital (GAFP). Each classroom will be collecting monetary donations starting Monday OCTOBER 28, 2024 through Wednesday NOVEMBER 13, 2024. This is a great opportunity for our students and staff to support a valuable resource in our community. The winning classroom will be recognized and invited to ride in a decorated school bus (“float”) during the Gibson City Lighted Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 23, 2024. The winning grade level will be treated to a pizza party by our local bus drivers. We appreciate their support! If you are interested in participating, please send your coin/monetary donations to the school for collection in the classroom starting Monday OCTOBER 28, 2024 and ending Wednesday NOVEMBER 13, 2024. *Checks can be made out to GAFP (which is a 501c3 non-profit organization). *For online donations: Scan this QR Code or go to the website listed below. The GCMS Middle School Book Fair is here! It will be open for your students to shop through out the school day this week. There will also be two FAMILY/COMMUNITY EVENTS during parent/teacher conferences on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd & Thursday, Oct. 24th from 3:30pm-7pm. Come shop the fair and support our school! All proceeds are used to purchase new books for the library. Can't wait to see you!
