All three buildings are in the middle of a "coin drive" to raise money for Gibson Area Food Pantry. In a time that has presented so many challenges this is an amazing opportunity to teach our children the true meaning of giving, encourage a little friendly competition, and support the Gibson Area Food pantry that just last week served nearly 200 household and 500 people in our community!
The GCMS community always steps up to provide for those in need and this is an amazing opportunity to ensure that this community resource is well stocked to serve during the upcoming winter months! The food pantry has developed great supply chains and resources that stretch the dollars you donate to maximize the impact they have. A dime or a dollar will help. Checks written to Gibson Area Food Pantry are wonderful as well.
Many people have reached out to me in recent months asking what can they do to help and here is your chance! Make that donation, talk to your children about the spirit of giving, community, and the pride in supporting your neighbors in a time of need!

We are collecting $ for the Gibson Area Food Pantry through Nov. 20. The class donating the most money will have a representative pie Mrs. Lindelof ($750 as a building), Mr. Kean ($1000), and George ($1500) in the face. Thank you in advance for your donations if you are able!

Congratulations Tyler Lange, Alex Killian, Liam Killian, and Katie Steidinger, for making District 3 ILMEA Senior Chorus. They were selected by judges from a large pool of students in based on their video auditions. They will take part in an online masterclass on Sat, Nov 21!
Another celebrity visited the life-skills class! Ms. Fairfield’s “grand dog” Floyd came to spend time with the students. One of the students’ life skill activities was to take care of a pet. Floyd loved the students’ attention as much as they enjoyed giving him the attention.
