Last Night GCMS Elementary hosted a Sensory Santa event for a number of our students that would not be able to participate in the traditional meetups with Santa. Thank you to Mrs. Corley and Mrs. McDonald for putting this event together!

Our evening Elementary Concert will continue as scheduled tonight. The weather conditions are not ideal but we are working to make the areas around the high school safe for arrival and departure. Please use extreme caution in transition and we understand and respect the fact that some children and families will choose to not attend due to the weather.

One last reminder about our Christmas Concert tomorrow. The PreK-2nd concert will begin at 5:30 and the 3rd-5th concert will begin at 6:45. The doors to the high school will not open until 5:00. We look forward to seeing you!

As we enter the winter months, be prepared for inclement weather and do your best to stay healthy. Attendance is still very important at this time of year!
The "Live Like Ava" t-shirt orders were passed out to students today. If there is a shirt missing from your order, please contact Staci Lindelof at the Elementary School ASAP- 217-784-4278 or lindelof.staci@gcmsk12.org. GCMS staff and students plan to wear these shirts or purple on Tuesday, December 17th along with the scheduled Christmas dress-up attire.
