The constant change in rules, regulations, and management have created an environment that makes it hard to understand all things that are impacting schools and children. I would like to invite any interested parties to join me for an evening of question and answer to gain more clarity and understanding of where we are now, how we got here, and what comes next. If you have questions about construction, programs, COVID, curriculum, finance, board governance, or anything that is school related please come and share your questions.

Our football reader program has always created a special relationship between the Elementary and High school students. Today Mrs. Willis's 2nd grade class got some shirts to cheer on their favorite Falcon!

Fisher-GCMS soccer celebrates Senior Day this Saturday as they take on Watseka at 9:40 am at the Fisher Fairgrounds. Come out to celebrate these seniors and cheer on our undefeated team!

It's not too late! GCMS Middle School still has about 15 more 2020-2021 yearbooks for sale. They are $15 each and can be purchased from Ms. Ferguson in the library. Reminder that volleyball intramurals begin TONIGHT (Sept. 13) at 5:30 PM at the middle school. Girls have to have all paperwork turned in in order to participate. Bring any remaning paperwork, tennis shoes, knee pads if you have them, water bottle, and a mask. Practice will end at 6:45 PM.
In what has become a yearly tradition, GCMS Seniors took a trip to the U of I Memorial Camp in Monticello on Friday where they completed the obstacle course using teamwork and problem solving!
Elementary picture day will be on next Wed. (Sept. 15th). Your child should have received a picture form earlier this week. Please send this form with $ on or before picture day or order online @ www.vsi.co/schools. Thanks!
