Students, if you are interested in supporting a great cause, Millie’s Militia bracelets will be on sale this week. They can be purchased from Mrs. Jamison during both lunches for $1.00. All proceeds benefit the Fields family.
Congratulations to the following 8th graders who have been voted into leadership positions of Red Crush for the 22-23 school year. Tucker Mueller will be the Major Captain of Red Crush this year. The following 8th graders will be head captains this year; Kate McCall, Brilee Little, Josie Kleist, and Graydon Leonard. Any middle school student planning to attend middle school games are invited to be part of the Red Crush. Stay tuned for theme night information coming later this week! If you have any suggestions or questions about Red Crush, please see one of the captains that were just announced or look at the sign outside of Mrs. Jamison’s office.
I’m seeing a lot of students participating in our Homecoming week dress up day today which is Tacky Tourist Day. Just a reminder that Wednesday is Jersey day, Thursday will be Senior Citizen Day, and Friday is of course Falcon Friday. Remember, anything you wear must fit into the guidelines of the student dress code, meaning all clothing and accessories should be appropriate for school.
Congratulations to our girls basketball teams. They opened their season on the road at Hoopeston yesterday and both the 7th and 8th grade teams came away with wins. Congratulations on starting the season with wins.
Attention baseball players, a reminder that uniform turn-in and field clean up will be Wednesday after school until 4:30. Be sure to bring all school-issued baseball gear to turn in. See Coach White if you have any questions.
Attention wrestlers, there will be an introductory meeting for any boys or girls interested in middle school wrestling tomorrow at 11:35 in the gym. This will be an opportunity to meet Coach Brucker and learn about the middle school wrestling program. See Coach Berry if you have any questions.
We would like for all students to do their check-in during the 1st hour. This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. J can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker and please be sure to sign up for hot lunch.
