MS Cheerleading Families,
Middle School Cheerleading tryouts are coming soon. Tryouts will be Saturday, Aug 13 from 9AM-3PM at the Middle School gym. There will be a cheer clinic in the morning from 9-12 and then tryouts will start at 1. Parents of candidates are encouraged to attend a parent meeting prior to the clinic at 8:30AM on the 13th. Tryout procedures and the upcoming season will be discussed at the parent meeting.
Anyone trying out for MS Cheer must have their required paperwork turned in prior to trying out. This includes:
-GCMS Athletic Insurance Verification Form
-GCMS Concussion Information Form
-GCMS District Parent/Fan Expectations
-proof of insurance (copy of insurance card or letter from insurance company)
*The above forms were included in online registration, you only need to submit these if you did not complete them during registration.*
-IESA/IHSA Physical Exam Form (must be signed by a medical professional)
No one will be allowed to participate unless all of their paperwork has been submitted. All forms are available on the DOCS/FORMS section of the GCMS Website and as an added feature, many can now be filled out online and emailed. Please email completed forms to Coach Joanna Willis at the address below. Paper copies of the paperwork packet are available in the green tub outside the office entrance at the Middle School. Paperwork not submitted online can be turned in at the parent meeting or on tryout day. Please contact Coach Willis with any questions.
