GCMS Families,
After careful consideration of our local data, and input from public health GCMS School District will return to full in person learning for the Elementary and Middle School on Monday, November 30th.
GCMS High School will be engaging in a full REMOTE learning schedule for the week of November 30th - December 4th due to the high volume of quarantined students, and a small number of COVID positive cases.
Please know that these decisions and determinations can be adjusted on very short notice should our case, quarantine, or staffing information change.
It is ESSENTIAL that any students who show symptoms or had known exposure (close contact) over the holidays be kept home on Monday the 30th. We encourage all families to notify your children's respective schools if you have either positive cases or close contacts so that we have all information and can continue to make informed decisions.
