Students, as you know we have our Super Bowl attendance challenge taking place. After the first week of this challenge Mrs. Pondel’s enrichment and Mrs. Purcell-Givens enrichment has taken over the lead. There is still plenty of time left in this challenge so don’t worry if your enrichment is not in first place.
Congratulations to our wrestling team. On Saturday they competed in the Coal City Invite which is one of the toughest middle school tournaments in the state. Of the 16 teams that competed, we ended up in first place! Congratulations on an outstanding performance.
Good luck to our boy’s basketball teams tonight as they are on the road tonight at Mahomet. Boys basketball players will be dismissed at 3:05 today.
Good luck to our girls volleyball teams as they kick off their season today with home matches against IW. The 7th grade game starts at 5:30 with the 8th grade match to follow. If any 8th grade students are available to help with the concession stand tonight we could use two helpers tonight.
Students, please make sure that your cellphone, airpods, and smart watches are put away in your locker.
Students that are eating school lunch today please be sure to sign up on the google form. First choice is a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and second choice is a fish sandwich. Please be sure to sign up so you get the choice that you want and to help us ensure that we have enough food for everyone.
