Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Tuesday, December 3.

Would you now please rise and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Good luck to our boys basketball teams today as they have a home game against PBL.  The 7th grade game starts at 5:30 with the 8th grade game to follow.  8th grade students, if you are interested in helping out at the concession stand tonight please let me know.

Attention girls basketball players, your uniform turn in and awards celebration are being postponed.  We will let you know when the new date is soon.

Students, this week you will be completing Fastbridge testing in reading, math and SEL.  Please take these assessments seriously as we use your results to make scheduling decisions that could impact your class schedule.  Take your time and try your best on these assessments.

Students, we have exactly three weeks of school left in this quarter.  Please be sure to check your grades and communicate with your teachers if you are unhappy with your grades.

Students, if you like trivia, then think about joining the 30, 20, 10 challenge hosted by the scholastic bowl.  The challenge will take place right after school today in Mrs. O’Neall’s room.  All students are welcome.

If you are interested in joining the Scholastic Bowl team this year, this would be a great opportunity to see what some of the questions might be like.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. O’Neall.

Students, please make sure that your cellphone and smart watches are put away in your locker.

All students need to complete their daily check-in.  The check-in can be found in the SEL Classroom.  Also, students that are eating school lunch today please be sure to sign up on the google form. First choice is a corndog and second choice is oven fried chicken.  If you are eating school lunch today please be sure to select the first choice.

Students, please remember to follow our school-wide expectations of Be on Time, Be Prepared, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.

Today is a great day to have a great day!
