Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Thursday, October 24.

Would you now please rise and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Today is a 2:20 dismissal days due to PTC’s. There is no school tomorrow. Enjoy the long weekend!

It’s the last day of Red Ribbon Week, and we want to thank you for your participation in supporting healthy, drug free lifestyles. We hope you’ve really thought about the meaning of this year’s theme: Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Drug Free and how making healthy choices will help you achieve your goals in life, while having fun in the process. We only want the best for you and can’t wait to see what you can achieve! Thank you for participating in this year’s Red Ribbon Week and remember, “Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Drug Free.”

Good luck to our girls basketball teams as they have home games against PBL.  The 7th grade game starts at 5:30 with the 8th grade game to follow.

GCMS After Prom is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk that will be held on Saturday, October 26th in the north park.  The cost is $30.  If you are interested in participating please reach out to Mrs. Doman.

Students, please make sure that your cellphone and smart watches are put away in your locker.

All students need to complete their daily check-in.  The check-in can be found in the SEL Classroom.  Also, students that are eating school lunch today please be sure to sign up on the google form.  First choice today are biscuits and gravy and second choice is a spicy chicken sandwich. Remember, if you are eating school lunch you must sign up during first period.  This ensures that we have made enough food for everyone.

Students, please remember to follow our school-wide expectations of Be on Time, Be Prepared, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.

Today is a great day to have a great day!
