Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Wednesday, January 24th.
Would you now please rise and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
Students, welcome back to school. Thank you for your patience and understanding with the e-learning days. If you were not able to get all of your assignments done over the last two days, please be sure to communicate with your teachers so that you are aware and can meet their expectations. Remember, we do e-learning days so we do not have to extend the school year in May and into June. So you are responsible for all work that was assigned on the e-learning days.
If you have miles of smiles paperwork please turn into the office.
Attention students interested in scholastic bowl, there will be an informational meeting for Scholastic Bowl tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM in Mrs. O’Neall’s classroom. This is the re-scheduled date due to the e-learning days earlier this week. All those interested in participating should attend this meeting. If you have any questions please get in touch with Mrs. O'Neall or Mrs. Warren
Student council members, you have some paperwork for an upcoming field trip. Please return completed paperwork to Mrs. Kirby.
Students, please be sure that you are on time to all of your classes. You don’t want to miss any of the instruction that takes place, especially at the beginning of class which is when your teachers set the stage for what you are doing in class that day. Also, please stay organized by keeping track of homework in your student agenda. At the end of the day this will help you to remember what assignments you need to complete in study hall or that you need to take home.
Students, please check the lost and found rack for any missing items. There are quite a few items that need to be claimed.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker. If you are eating school lunch today and have not signed up yet please do so now.
Students, please remember to follow our school-wide expectations of Be on Time, Be Prepared, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.
Thank you and have a fantastic day Falcons!
