Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Tuesday, November 7th.

Students, please remember that in the morning before you go to class you need to be in the gym or the cafeteria. You can’t be in the hallway in between. Once you are done eating breakfast you need to be in the gym until you are dismissed for class.
Congratulations to our boys basketball teams. Last night they both got wins against Hoopeston. The 7th grade team won by a score of 29-24 and 8th grade won 35-33. Good luck tonight as they have home games against Blue Ridge. Students, remember you get in free to all home games so come on out tonight and support the team. The theme for tonight’s game is College Scout.
Wrestling practice begins Nov. 27. If you have any paperwork to turn in please turn it in to Mrs. Cliff in the office.
Please be sure to have warm clothing for recess and PE. If it’s not wet outside and if it's warmer than 20 degrees we will go outside for recess. So please make sure that you have a coat to wear.
We would like for all students to do their check-in during the 1st hour. Even if you do not want a check-in today please be sure to log-in and submit that you do not want a check-in. We want all students to be comfortable with this process. This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. Zook can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker. If you are eating school lunch today and have not signed up yet please do so now.
